This food waste truck is built for collectors serving restaurants, markets, canteens and catering kitchens. The ten-cubic-metre sealed tank sits on a Dongfeng D9 6×2 chassis with a Cummins 195 hp (145 kW) diesel engine, and the whole unit measures 7,000 × 2,500 × 3,300 mm — a medium footprint that keeps access easy in town centres while carrying a full day of kitchen waste.
Standard 120 L and 240 L kitchen-waste bins are lifted, tipped and returned in about 25 seconds each, and the push-out mechanism empties the complete tank in the same time at the treatment site. Leachate is kept in a separate 700 L tank instead of dripping onto the road, and a 450 L clean-water tank with high-pressure washing keeps the loading area clean after each round. Tank heating, a weighing system and cab monitoring are fitted to make the round auditable and the payload countable.
The tank comes in 4 mm carbon steel as standard with a stainless-steel option for corrosive loads, and control, discharge and locking modes are configurable. As a factory build from CLW Group, the specification is fixed in writing against your route before production; export documents are prepared for the destination market and units ship by RO-RO or flat-rack via Lagos, Tema, Mombasa and Dar es Salaam, with land delivery quoted for landlocked markets.
